KIA Sorento Photos Salón de París SUV
The new Kia Sorento will be unveiled in August

Kia has announced that the next generation of the Sorento will be revealed in South Korea at the end of next month. This event will allow the Korean brand to publish the essential details of the SUV and save the rest for its debut before European audiences at the Paris Motor Show. There, the version intended for the old continent and its specific technical features will be presented.
Alongside the announcement, Kia has released two sketches outlining the main lines of the new Sorento. The changes the SUV will receive will be profound, although the design will remain in line with the recent models the brand has launched around the world. Starting with the front, the front grille will take on greater prominence and will no longer be so close to the headlights, which are slightly longer and more expressive.

The air intakes on the bumper will adopt a trapezoidal shape, and the bonnet will be somewhat higher, which, together with the equally raised beltline, will contribute to a more robust appearance. The profile also highlights the lower roof height and the more pronounced ribs on the lower part of the doors.
The published sketches finally show a more balanced rear end with more discreet rear lights than those of the current Sorento. The new model therefore presents a more athletic and refined look that brings the Korean SUV closer to the current crossover trend. Kia says that its studios in South Korea, the United States and Germany worked on the design.
