The new Maserati MC20 convertible cruises through the streets of Modena

Presented in September 2020, the Maserati MC20 was launched as one of the most novel releases of the moment thanks to its spectacular Italian design, a powertrain derived from Formula 1 technology, and the responsibility of becoming the flagship sports car of the trident brand.

Just yesterday we brought you once again the Maserati MC20 Fuoriserie Edition, a very special edition created by and for David Beckham itself, wearing a very dark metallic black colour accompanied by pastel pink elements that give it a most attractive look.

But today we bring you images of the preliminary prototype of the new MC20 convertible, which has left the company’s historic Modena plant to take a little stroll through its streets, leaving us wanting more.

This is so because the model wears camouflage with a cloud pattern as it is a convertible model, which, although it disguises its features, clearly shows how the beautiful roofline of the Italian supercar remains practically intact when compared with the coupé version, something very complex in vehicles that allow their roof to open.

With its bodywork made entirely of carbon fibre, this new convertible version, along with the coupé and electric versions still to come, is without a doubt our favourite, as it will deliver excellent dynamics just like the coupé, but with the added bonus of enjoying the freedom and the sound of the 3.0-litre V6 with 630 CV with Formula 1 technology at full throttle, becoming a object of pleasure that will win over more than one enthusiast.
