The new Mazda BT-50 pick-up previews its upcoming presentation

The fascinating world of powerful pick-ups receives an update to one of the most stylish and attractive pick-up trucks on the market, the Mazda BT-50 of 2021.

Pick-up trucks are in fashion. In reality, they have never gone out of style, and in countries in Asia, Latin America, North America or Australia this highly versatile type of vehicle like no other remains one of the most sought-after, as is the case with the Mazda BT-50 pick-up.

In fact, brands like Mazda which, in countries such as Spain, seem to focus almost exclusively on fashionable segments with a clear commitment to expanding SUVs, whether equipped with combustion engines or powered by electricity, maintain their commitment to pick-up trucks on a global level.

And, in this case, offering products capable of combining the most stylish design language without giving up on vehicles with multiple capabilities. The most current example is the upcoming new Mazda BT-50 pick-up.

Through a digitized image, we have been able to see the fundamental lines of what will be the new pick-up truck from Mazda, at least in the Australian market. A model that we are unlikely to see on Spanish soil, unless it is some ‘kangaroo that hops’ all the way to our borders.

From the other side of the world, we preview a vehicle that promises to be, quite simply, spectacular. The brand’s badge will be clearly displayed on its front end and will be styled thanks to angular headlights that echo those of more urban models without losing an ounce of toughness, thanks to a large grille that will draw attention in front-on photographs.

The bodywork appears muscular and promises an empowered stance thanks to wheel arches capable of accommodating the engine block, the two-section cabin and the long, high-capacity cargo bed resting over the rear axle.

In this first image, the cabin appears to have a very stylish dynamic thanks to long, progressively raked A-pillars that further support a dynamic stance, far from the toughness of other, more rugged pick-ups that may be less appealing to a public seeking a balance between beauty and visual impact.

Nothing is known about its engine yet, but it is possible that it will retain its powertrains, both diesel and petrol, given that it will feature all-wheel drive that ensures traction, typical of the best of off-roaders on its off-road adventures, and also some variant with 4×2 drive for less demanding uses.

The Australian branch of Mazda has announced that the public debut of the BT-50 model will take place on June 17, and until then we can only share a few official details.
