The new Mercedes-AMG C 63 2021 is rendered to anticipate its look
The Mercedes-AMG C 63 2021 is one of the most anticipated models, and today it has been rendered so we can anticipate some of its details.
The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class is one of the most important new releases of this year 2021, becoming the second most technologically advanced and sophisticated model from the brand. However, there were rumours that the new batch of AMG models would use a hybrid four-cylinder instead of the well-known V8, and the arrival of this new engine could come through the Mercedes-AMG C 63 2021, the most radical and sporty version of the German saloon, whose launch is expected by the end of the year.
For now, the star brand maintains a deafening silence on the matter, so it has not been confirmed that the hybrid four-cylinder will replace the V8. Nevertheless, we do have a render of the C 63 2021 courtesy of X-Tomi Deisgn.
It has drawn on the latest AMG design canons to bring the Mercedes-AMG C 63 2021 to life, a variant that is easy to imagine given that we know all the details of the standard C-Class. The front is dominated by the panamericana grille, while the side features the very distinctive multi-spoke wheels finished in black. For now, the rear has not been interpreted, but we assume a quad exhaust outlet and a pronounced spoiler finished in carbon fibre.
Improvements in dynamics are also expected, such as the rear-wheel steering or the intelligent all-wheel drive system 4Matic+. With it, the driver will be able to choose at will whether to have an all-wheel-drive car or, conversely, rear-wheel drive, something we have already seen in other models in the range such as the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S or the E 63.
However, the real highlight of this creation will be found in its mechanical section. If it uses that supposed four-cylinder in-line engine, we would be talking about the same engine that equips the A 45, only supported by a hybrid turbo capable of completely eliminating turbo lag and delivering an immediate response from its approximately 520 CV, a figure that could rise to 550 CV in an S version.
Whatever the case, everything points to the end of this year 2021 as the time when we will learn all the details of the new Mercedes-AMG C 63. At the same time, the star brand is also expected to use the 43 designation, offering, as with the previous generation, an entry-level step into the sporty C-Class range.
