Peugeot, the French car manufacturer known for its excellent value for money, is ready to impress everyone once again with the launch of the all-new Peugeot 208. This iconic city car has been redesigned to embrace electrification and advanced technology. The latest version of the Peugeot 208 aims to keep its title as the best-selling car in France in 2022 in the PC+LCV category, which is now available with two electrified offers and two hybrids, in three trims: ACTIVE (100% electric), ALLURE (hybrid) and GT (petrol).

The Peugeot 208 has been a favourite on French roads for decades, and its latest generation raises its performance and features once again, promising to take French charm to new heights. Its exterior design has been completely renewed and, in this new generation, it includes a captivating front end and a three-claw light signature, although the real magic lies inside.

The renewed French model offers an even more exciting driving experience thanks to the Peugeot i-Cockpit®, an advanced digital system that makes driving not only more dynamic but also more intuitive through its new 10-inch central touchscreen.

Up to four powertrains to choose from

Peugeot’s commitment to electrification shines through its exceptional offer of two fully electric and two hybrid Peugeot 208 models. The Peugeot E-208, leader of the B-segment 100% electric in France, offers two electric powertrain options. The 115 kW/156 CV motor offers an impressive range of up to 400 km on the WLTP combined cycle, while the 100 kW/136 CV motor offers up to 362 km of range.

The other option comes with a hybrid engine and features two 48V hybrid systems. These systems, which combine a latest-generation PureTech petrol engine with an electric motor, allow the Peugeot 208 HYBRID 100 and HYBRID 136 to run in zero-emission electric mode for more than 50% of the time in urban driving.

The Peugeot 208 prides itself on its ability to meet the needs of every driver. In addition to the electric and hybrid options, this vehicle offers two particularly economical and efficient petrol engines: the PureTech 75 with a 5-speed manual gearbox and the PureTech 100 with a 6-speed manual gearbox. This range of engines ensures there is a suitable option for every driving style.

Attractive offers with leasing options

To celebrate the launch of the new Peugeot 208, the brand offers competitive deals for both private and business customers. For example, the Peugeot e-208 Active of 156 CV, with its 400 kilometres of range, is available from just €180 per month after an initial payment of €5,700 (taking into account eco and scrappage incentives). However, the Peugeot 208 Active PureTech, in its 75 CV petrol version, is available from €150 per month after an initial payment of €3,600.
