The new Porsche 935 has already hit the ground running, and we can see it for ourselves on the Monza circuit
Porsche has decided to take the new 935 to the Monza circuit facilities to put it to the test, a vehicle developed exclusively for the track.

A few days ago, we told you about the historic past of Porsche and how it brought it back to life with the revival of the spectacular 935. Now, the German brand has decided to show what its new creation is capable of by taking it to its natural habitat, the circuit. To do this, Porsche has set course for Italy to put the new 935 to the test, a new model that has inherited the main elements of its predecessor but complemented by today’s technology and design, something we can see reflected in many aspects.
Porsche has kept intact the essence that the 935 of yesteryear conveyed, but now we can also see reflected the characteristic efficiency of its contemporary models. To achieve this, the brand has turned to numerous current components that highlight both the aerodynamic and mechanical aspects of this vehicle focused exclusively on the world of competition.
As we told you earlier, only 77 units of this vehicle will be produced, but Porsche wanted to demonstrate that every euro invested will be worth it. To do this, the people in Stuttgart have set their sights on the Monza circuit, a demanding track that forces its visitors to bring out the best in themselves in order to complete the Italian course successfully and in the shortest time possible. To meet this goal, Porsche has not only relied on its roster of drivers, but has also made sure to offer the best tuning with the 935.

Let us remember that this reinterpretation of the iconic 1970s model is based on the current 911, one of the most effective variants of the German sports car. At the same time, the engineers at Porsche have put great effort into developing the aerodynamic aspect, which has been based on different components that we can see in other iconic models such as the 911 GT3 R race car and the 919 Hybrid LMP1.
At the same time, Porsche did not use the base of just any 911, but that of the GT2 RS itself, the most radical version of the quintessential sports car. This means that beneath the skin of the 935 lies a twin-turbo six-cylinder engine capable of producing a whopping 700 CV of power and 750 Nm of torque. Without a doubt, the weight reduction and improved aerodynamics compared to a 911 are noticeable, something we can perceive in the video of the 935 running at full speed around Monza.

Without a doubt, Porsche has managed to develop a vehicle worthy of its predecessor, an iconic race car that marked a before and after in the history of the automotive industry. Now, 77 lucky owners will be able to get behind the wheel of this new 935 and experience its potential on the track, a place where the German sports car will be able to showcase all its virtues.
