The new SUV from Lamborghini revealed by Quattroruote (and which may replace the Estoque)

We already showed you a possible new appearance of Lamborghini at the Geneva Motor Show, and among the possibilities being considered by the bull brand, we found that the Lamborghini SUV could be a plausible option, and certainly not far-fetched. Moreover, the magazine Quattroruote has added more fuel to the fire by revealing some images of the SUV in question, in its February print edition.

At the same time as we see these images, rumours are circulating that the Italian house is dropping the Estoque, probably to be replaced by the SUV, which would be presented at the Beijing Motor Show and start going on sale from 2015.

Among its possible engine options, it would make sense for it to carry the Gallardo’s V10 with almost 600 horsepower. However, Lamborghini will begin to feel the pressure of downsizing, to which it is pushed by anti-pollution laws around the world, and would offer its SUV with a V8 version (of Audi?) and a parallel hybrid variant, with power figures that would be around 700 horsepower.

For now, everything you see about Lamborghini’s SUV is from the Quattroruote images. What can be seen so far looks promising, especially the rear. At the front, it keeps the threatening look characteristic of Lamborghini, although there could be more than one change before the definitive model is presented.
