The new Volkswagen Polo can now be ordered in Spain, and this is its price
The new Volkswagen Polo reveals its price and kicks off its sales in Spain with the opening of the order book

A couple of months ago Volkswagen unveiled the new look with which the Volkswagen Polo will greet us, and just a few days ago the GTI sporty version, a model that is finally arriving in the various European markets, including Spain, where dealerships of the brand already accept orders for the new Polo and consequently its price has been revealed.
Let us recall that the new look of the Volkswagen Polo serves as a nod to the one previously presented with the new generation Golf, something reflected in a front end with a new light cluster that also features the light bar joining both headlights, while the lower section features a newly designed bumper. At the rear, a bumper also appears, on which the also new taillights sit; their design extends toward the tailgate and will include LED technology as standard. The exterior styling is rounded off with a selection of alloy wheels in 15, 16 and 17-inch sizes.

Inside, we will see how the new Volkswagen Polo becomes more technological: depending on the trim chosen, we can fit screens for the infotainment system in 6.5 or 9.2-inch sizes, which also includes the latest software version, or even the digital instrument cluster in 8 or 10.25-inch size. But this is not the last word, since in terms of safety the new Polo takes a significant leap from its entry-level trim. Precisely regarding that trim, the new Polo will be sold in Spain in three trim levels from launch, with standard equipment such as the following:
- Polo:
- LED front headlights with LED daytime running lights
- Digital cockpit with 8-inch screen
- Cruise control
- Lane departure warning assist
- Emergency braking assist
- “Comfort” front seats
- App Connect

- Polo Life:
- 15-inch alloy wheels, Essex model
- Power-adjustable, heated and electrically foldable exterior mirrors
- Radio Ready 2 Discover with “Streaming & Internet”
- Front centre armrest
- Wireless App-Connect
- Multifunction steering wheel
- R-Line
- Sporty exterior pack
- 16-inch alloy wheels, Valencia model
- Digital Cockpit Pro with 10.25-inch screen
- Automatic dual-zone climate control
- “Light and vision” pack
- “Park Pilot” acoustic parking sensors
- Darkened rear windows

Mechanically, the new Volkswagen Polo makes a clear commitment to petrol, offering a range that starts with the 1.0 TSI engine producing 95 CV, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox that can optionally be replaced by the 7-speed DSG. This same engine will also be offered with 110 CV for the Life and R-Line trims, paired as standard with the 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The most powerful engine, 207 CV, is reserved for the GTI version, which will be available after the summer.
As we were saying, the new Volkswagen Polo can already be ordered in Spain, with a starting price that the brand has set at 16,600 euros, including discounts and financing.
