The NIO ET is unveiled at the Shanghai Show, and we can see it in some images, where it shows it could be a worthy rival to the Tesla Model S in a few months

The NIO ET will be presented at the Shanghai Show and is a real novelty for the brand specialising in electric vehicles. In fact, it is the first saloon launched by the brand, and it introduces a body design different from what we know from the rest of its models. By the way, these are also present at the Chinese event, so you will be able to enjoy everything the brand has to offer. All of them, by the way, are electric vehicles.
The NIO ET has a length of 5.1 metres, which brings it closer to the look of the Tesla Model S and all its iterations. This is certainly no coincidence, as this powerful and potent saloon aims to challenge the American manufacturer, which today is the enemy to beat in the 100% electric market.

The company’s platform for electric vehicles is complemented by a high-density nickel-cobalt-manganese battery pack that provides high-density storage. It powers two front motors and two induction motors at the rear, which together deliver a range of 510 kilometres, though under the NEDC cycle.

As an option, the NIO ET can be equipped with a synchronous magnet motor with an output of 220 kW, equivalent to 295 CV, a considerable power figure. NIO also wants to popularise its NIO Power Charger charging system, which guarantees adequate charging for all types of batteries, so NIO intends to make it available to users of other brands.
This application can be used with domestic chargers, industrial chargers and other types of chargers. With One Click to Power, and through the NIO Charging mini application, it offers vehicle charging for 280 yuan. To show what it means to own a NIO, whatever the model, 60 owners of one of its models were brought together, who shared their experience behind the wheel. The NIO ET will soon be on the market and will seek its place in a market that offers more and more choices.
