The Nissan GT-R 2022 debuts in Japan with two very special limited series
Nissan has just unveiled the new range of its flagship sports car, also debuting two truly brutal special editions

As hard as it may seem, the current R35 generation of the Nissan GT-R has been with us since 2007. Over these 14 years, the sports car also known as Godzilla has maintained its position as one of the best exponents of its segment, considering the price-to-product ratio it can boast.
But this has not happened by chance, since Nissan has been updating the veteran generation to keep it fresh at all times, something that has just occurred, as the Japanese brand has just presented the new range of its GT-R, accompanied by two highly exclusive limited editions.

A very exclusive nod to the past
These two editions are named GT-R Premium Edition T-spec and the other GT-R Track Edition Engineered by Nismo T-spec, and will be limited to 100 units that will feature a wide range of exclusive elements of these very interesting versions.
First of all, Nissan has incorporated two new colors to dress these special GT-R editions, called Midnight Purple and Millennium Jade. These two colors are a reinterpretation of two iconic colors that were already introduced with the R-34 generation, and they work really well as a nod to the past of this icon.

Numerous aesthetic novelties
Obviously, the color was not the only special feature, as four wheel designs have also been incorporated, among them forged aluminum wheels signed by RAYS in bronze, a lowered suspension and a handsome carbon-fiber rear spoiler. In addition, two specific plates have been fitted—one at the front and another at the rear—bearing the designation T-spec.
Weight has also been improved and was a factor that received considerable attention. Besides the forged wheels to reduce weight, the tailgate and the roof have been manufactured in carbon fiber.

Improved dynamics
The braking system also reveals that we are dealing with a T-spec, as Nissan has equipped carbon-ceramic brakes with large yellow calipers signed by Brembo, designed to withstand the highest level of demand in use.
Looking at the interior, Nissan has added new upholstery options, a identification plate on the center console, and a stitched roof lined in Alcantara that create a high-quality and very exclusive atmosphere.

Heart and price
Under the hood there is no novelty, so we have a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 with 572 CV and 633 Nm of torque, an engine capable of catapulting the car from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds.
If you want to get one of these two special editions, prices start at 122,252 euros for the GT-R Premium Edition T-spec and 137,445 euros for the GT-R Track Edition Engineered by Nismo T-spec.
