The Omoda 7 offers a cinema-style experience inside the cabin: entertainment and comfort as its hallmark

Next year the Omoda 7 will be launched in Europe, and while it promises a very attractive launch thanks to its performance, this model from the Chery group has much more to offer. One of the things that will make it especially interesting is what it hides inside the cabin.

Occupants of the Omoda 7 will be able to enjoy a very intense entertainment experience, with an option to discover the magic of the cinema at a more intense level than any other model offers. Passengers can enjoy an immersive experience thanks to its technological equipment.

The main driver of this technology is the Star-Rail screen, which measures 15.7 inches. The screen can be positioned centrally so that all occupants can enjoy it, wherever they are sitting. To complement the visual experience provided by the screen, the Omoda 7 is equipped with 12 high-quality speakers. These make the immersion very complete with sound as well.

To round off the experience, you need the ambient lighting. It consists of 255 colours that can be combined to create a relaxing atmosphere for enjoying the audiovisual experience on board the car. These lights adapt to the action of the film, so they can be used to enhance the enjoyment during the screening.

Finally, the Omoda 7 will feature a fragrance-based ambience system. Each scent spreads through the cabin and creates a relaxing, pleasant atmosphere that lasts for hours.

This system can only be used when the car is parked, of course, but it is part of a cabin designed for the comfort and ease of its occupants. The cabin is quiet and is equipped with sporty seats. These include heating and massage functions and a footrest to make rest time more relaxing.

In addition to the 15.7-inch screen, the Omoda 7 will have a 12.3-inch instrument display. Mobile devices can be charged wirelessly.

The Omoda 7, hybrid and powerful

The Omoda 7 will feature a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine and one or two electric motors, depending on the chosen configuration. The battery powering these electric motors will be 18.3 kWh, guaranteeing a total range of 1,200 kilometres. Its arrival on the European market has not yet been confirmed, but it is expected during 2025.
