The Opel Corsa receives the new Design & Tech version: well equipped, attractive and well priced
With exclusive design elements, more equipment and a sensational price, this new version of the Opel Corsa is here to make waves

The small Opel Corsa (road test) is one of the most attractive city cars in the B segment. A segment in which the Corsa has to contend with tough rivals such as the Seat Ibiza, the Volkswagen Polo, the Skoda Fabia or the Renault Clio, among many others.
To strengthen its position and give its rivals a few headaches, Opel has decided to launch the new Design & Tech version, a trim level with a fun and pleasant look, extra equipment compared with the more conventional versions and all for a price of around 15,000 euros.
New design features
In terms of styling, the new Opel Corsa Design & Tech has several elements that set it apart. The first is its 16-inch Hurricane light-alloy wheels in black, which give it a slightly sportier and more striking character.

In addition, it also has black window surrounds, black door mirrors and a subtle rear spoiler that completes the rear of the compact from the brand with the Blitz.
Inside, this new version of the Corsa introduces a new mixed Captain Blue/Morrocana upholstery, several dashboard inserts and black door panels, along with a multifunction steering wheel trimmed in faux leather.
Well equipped
Regarding the most notable standard equipment, in addition to what has already been mentioned, it includes EcoLED headlights, speed control with speed limiter, pedestrian detection assist, fatigue detector, an instrument cluster with a small 3.5-inch screen, electric front and rear windows, traffic sign recognition, rain sensor, the Start&Stop function and a digital radio with a screen of inches, among others.

Engine range and prices
Under the bonnet, Opel offers two engine options. The first is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 75 CV, paired with a five-speed automatic gearbox. The second is a 1.2-litre Turbo engine producing 100 CV, which is also associated with a manual transmission, in this case with six gears.
Finally, a key factor in deciding whether it is a good choice is the price, and the new Opel Corsa Design & Tech scores highly here, starting from 14,200 euros for the 75 CV version and from 15,600 euros for the 100 CV version.
