The Peugeot 208 Signature: a special series of the popular, very affordable model
Peugeot bets on connectivity and an aggressive, sporty design in its new take on its famous Peugeot 208, the Signature.
Peugeot surprises us with this version of one of its most iconic and best-selling models in its history. The Peugeot 208 Signature is the famous brand’s bid to give it a more aggressive edge, and to incorporate the most up-to-date technology into one of its most important cars. Moreover, it comes with an astonishing price: just €13,690 will be enough to get your hands on this little gem.
A car that is perfect for the city but which, with its original and aggressive design, its performance, the customisation options it offers, or its solid feel behind the wheel, aims not to go unnoticed on the streets of the metropolis.

Petrol or diesel?
The Peugeot 208 Signature special series has the efficiency of its engines as its main strength.
In its diesel version we find the Blue HDi 100 engine, paired with a 6-speed gearbox, undoubtedly one of today’s benchmarks for driving pleasure and environmental respect thanks to its low emissions.
On the other hand, there is the petrol option. We find the PureTech three-cylinder engines with 82 CV or 110 CV, depending on the option you choose (although we recommend the 110 CV version, as in our opinion the 82 CV option is too limited). The 110 CV version also offers the choice of a manual or automatic 6-speed gearbox.
Eye-catching design
As for the exterior, the Peugeot 208 Signature stands out from its smaller sibling.
It stands out for its chrome Equalizer grille, its body-coloured folding mirrors with indicators, or its “Signature” side monograms, and the 16″ grey Titane alloy wheels, which add a touch of dynamism, reinforced by the specific door sills.

Inside, we find the successful Peugeot i-Cockpit driving position. It features a detail-rich LCD screen that lets you receive real-time vehicle information, such as speed, without having to take your eyes off the road.
Its large 7″ touchscreen is synonymous with intuitive driving, managing systems such as music, navigation or smartphone apps through Mirror Screen technology, compatible with Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM.
In addition to the Peugeot i-Cockpit®, the interior of this special series is full of details that reinforce its refinement and sporty character, such as chrome-plated vent surrounds and a high-end gear lever knob.
As you can see, the Signature is an attractive proposition that will undoubtedly be a great option for everyone who was planning to buy a Peugeot 208 but who wants to stand out from the rest, with a little more aggression and a more complete technology pack. We think it is a very well-judged move.
