The Peugeot e-Rifter Vanderer arrives, the camper spirit with zero emissions

A vehicle designed for work and continuous use throughout the week can also be used to enjoy free time, turned into a comfortable camper van, equipped for camping. Peugeot has joined forces with the company specialised in customising camper vehicles Vanderer to turn the Peugeot e-Rifter into an option for a getaway.

The company has worked on a five-seat e-Rifter Allure Long, which offers 4.75 metres in length to convert the interior into a comfortable apartment for enjoying free time. At the rear, an Interior Living furniture kit is included, which can be removed very easily without tools.

A kitchen with a sink and running water has also been installed, with capacity to carry drinking water in a 12-litre tank. It also has a waste water tank, which prevents this water from being poured in unsuitable places.

At the front, between the two seats, a 16-litre fridge and a compressor freezer have been fitted. There are several combinations possible through optional elements, such as a removable kitchen, a folding table and other items that improve the use of the electric camper van. You can also add a Fiamma F35 awning, which increases the shaded area in that space.

In addition to the bed at the rear, you can add as an option a raisable roof bed. This provides more sleeping space and makes it easier to accommodate more passengers for weekend getaways or holidays. All of this, with the electric mobility offered by the French model.

This model features a 50 kWh battery, which provides a range of up to 275 kilometres, so it allows a fairly long journey and reaching destinations quite far from home. It also offers several driver assistance systems, such as the parking assistant, with a 180º rear camera and collision alert. Other comforts include heated seats and the Peugeot Cockpit.
