The Peugeot RCZ filters its facelift and closes its mouth a little
The facelift of the Peugeot RCZ, which will be shown at the Paris Motor Show, leaks out in images showing that the exaggerated grille has disappeared in favour of a calmer design.
The lion brand of the PSA Group has unveiled the Peugeot redesigned RCZ just minutes ago, with the first images of its update, where the most striking feature is a much more restrained front view. We will no longer have the chance to see the grille as exaggerated as on the previous model.
The grille is smaller and clearly divided into two parts. The fog lights will disappear in favour of the small LED daytime running lights, and the shape of the headlights is not very different from that of the current model.
Apart from that, little else has changed, except for very small isolated details at the rear. You will also see that the humps remain in place, to give the RCZ’s design greater aerodynamic efficiency.
From what has been said so far, the engines will not undergo major changes either, at least none that Peugeot has mentioned ahead of the Paris Motor Show; only the price, which would be around 34,000–35,000 euros and which would reach dealerships towards the end of the year.
What do you think of the new presentation? I think that just by closing the exaggerated mouth of the past it has already gained a few points.
