The popular Jeep Avenger gets a cosmetic update and receives a new engine
Three years after its market debut, the popular Jeep Avenger has received small updates and introduces the latest generation of the Turbo 100 petrol engine

Three years ago, Jeep set out to bring the brand closer to a larger number of customers, and the formula chosen was the creation of a compact SUV, the Jeep Avenger, a model that, after three years on the market, has become the best-selling SUV in Italy and one of the leading models in its segment in Europe. Now that its presence in the European market is established, the Avenger receives an update.
Changes in a restyle are usually not very profound, and on the Avenger they have not been extensive either; moreover, they will depend mainly on the chosen trim level. The grille is inspired by the one introduced with the new Compass, and it follows the senseless trend of LED backlighting. In the 4xe version, for example, it features new bumpers complemented by vertical front details in red and the Jeep badge. Additionally, new wheel designs are added in 17- and 18-inch sizes, and the colour palette is expanded with the Forest and Bamboo shades.

For the interior of the new Jeep Avenger, the brand focused on improving the look, feel and sensation of all surfaces. To achieve this, a softer material has been used on the door panels and a padded material on the lower part of the dashboard. More specifically, the Altitude and Summit versions now receive mixed cloth and vinyl upholstery, while the 4xe version offers a new green interior that is washable and highly durable. Finally, the Selec-Terrain traction selector is now framed in red and covered in rubber, making its use and identification simpler.

On the technology front, the new Jeep Avenger now incorporates matrix LED headlights. This new LED Matrix system contributes to safer and more relaxed driving by improving night-time visibility and illuminating the edges of the road, even during turns. Thanks to its sensors, it also automatically adapts the light beam to traffic and speed, so the driver does not have to intervene and can focus entirely on driving.

Mechanically, the Jeep Avenger receives the latest update to the Turbo 100 engine from the Stellantis group, consisting of a 3-cylinder block with 1,199 cc that delivers 101 CV together with 205 Nm of torque, linked to a six-speed manual gearbox. Otherwise, everything remains the same, with the e-Hybrid engine one step above, featuring mild-hybrid technology at 48 V and 110 CV. Then comes the 4xe version with all-wheel drive and 145 CV, and finally the fully electric version with 156 CV.

Notably, the new Jeep Avenger will be available, in addition to the known Longitude, Altitude and Summit trim levels, in the 85th Anniversary launch edition celebrating the brand’s birthday. It is based on the Altitude equipment level and stands out for special graphics and gold details on the bumpers and wheels on the exterior, while the interior features logos along with tartan-patterned upholstery and gold stitching as contrast.
The new Jeep Avenger is now available to order at the brand’s dealerships, with a starting price of 26,000 euros, excluding discounts or promotions offered by the brand.
