The Porsche 911 Cuarenta Edition celebrates 40 years of Porsche Ibérica
This special edition celebrates 40 years of presence in the Spanish market of the Porsche Ibérica division, with details for the local market

When Porsche arrived in Spain, several decades ago, it did so through a distributor. But exactly 40 years ago, the distribution of the brand’s models was taken over by a subsidiary of the same company. Thus Porsche España S.A. was born, which over time was renamed Porsche Ibérica, since Portugal was also included in the company’s operations.
It has been 40 years since then, so Porsche Ibérica wants to celebrate it with the launch of a very special version of the Porsche 911. It has been created by the Iberian division of Porsche, together with Style Porsche and the Sonderwunsch team. To do so, very powerful elements have been selected that create a highly personalized version of this model, but only for the 40 units that will be manufactured of this variant.

Each of these 40 units will feature a different design, thanks to the personalization options available to each owner of this commemorative version. One of these units is reserved for the subsidiary. It will remain part of its fleet and will serve as a reminder of what they can achieve in marking their presence on the peninsula.
According to Porsche Ibérica, this car aims to be “what a Spanish or Portuguese buyer would have asked for 40 years ago, but that remains as current and functional today as it was then“. The Sonderwunsch project is dedicated to designing and making available to buyers all the personalization elements they need to have virtually unique cars with a spectacular presence.

PORSCHE 911 40 EDITION
The version chosen for the Porsche 911
The variant is based on the Porsche 911 GTS Coupé. This model matches what the various members of this version, designed for Spanish and Portuguese drivers, were looking for. It uses a T-Hybrid powertrain, featuring a six-cylinder boxer engine with a displacement of 3.6 litres. This engine is combined with an electric motor coupled to the eight-speed PDK gearbox. Power output is 541 CV, with a top speed of 312 km/h.
Standard equipment includes rear-wheel steering and the Porsche Active Suspension Management system, PASM, which allows a ground clearance 10 millimetres lower. The controls are arranged so that the driver can reach them without any difficulty and operation is much simpler.
This is achieved with the Porsche Driver Experience system, which focuses on the driver’s experience and makes driving easier.
Exterior of the 911 Cuarenta Edition
To give the special version more personality, the special colour Quercusverde has been created. It is inspired by the colour of holm oak leaves, evoking the holm oak, oak and cork oak forests, so typical of both countries, Portugal and Spain.
The holm oak is also important in the design of the car, so it appears in several places. It has been placed on the rear tailgate. On the B-pillar the badge “911 40” can be seen, certifying its membership of this special version. The Porsche and 911 emblems appear in silver on the rear.

It features aluminium window trims, widened wings with a satin black stone-chip protective film, and the rear lights and rear strip are red. This protective paint is a nod to something very common on 911s of the 1980s, but updated and more practical.
The RS Spyder Design wheels have a satin black finish with bright silver, with the rim finished in silver and the hub cap bearing the monochrome Porsche crest, just as they appeared in the 1980s. Inside, work has also been done to make this version as personal as possible.
Each of these 40 units will have a price of 284,439 euros, and the first units will be delivered from October 2024 onwards.
