The Los Angeles Show is now underway, and the novelties the brands have chosen to unveil at the Californian event are starting to arrive. One of them is a spectacular version of the Range Rover, which has been in the hands of Special Vehicle Operations, the customisation division of Jaguar Land Rover, to turn it into the Range Rover SVAutobiography you can see in this image.

According to its creators, what they have achieved is a sanctuary for relationships while travelling on board, which also functions as a mobile technology hub. Inside, we find two very comfortable rear seats, which include a massage system to make the journey more pleasant. In addition, passengers seated there can enjoy 1.2 metres to stretch their legs and, if they wish, recline the seat by up to 40%.

And they haven’t only thought about comfort during the journey: the centre console also features the controls needed to operate all the systems required to travel comfortably in the back. If you prefer to work, each seat has a folding table with a 10-inch screen, so you can stay well connected.

Connectivity is provided by a 4G Wi-Fi system, and while the occupants browse the internet, they can enjoy a cold drink from the fridge included in the car. To get in and out, the floor has been specially designed to avoid strain when climbing in and out of the car, so everything has been designed to make comfort the most fundamental aspect of the model.

As for the engine, those who choose this luxury SUV can opt for a 5.0-litre supercharged V8, a 4.4-litre V8 and a plug-in hybrid that uses a 2.0-litre engine combined with an electric motor powered by lithium-ion batteries. Working together, both powertrains deliver 398 CV.

This luxury SUV is the brand’s flagship, so, knowing how this brand goes about equipment and performance, it is not something to pass up. The price, of course, is also in line with what it offers: in the UK it will launch with a starting price of £167,850, while the top model in the range will cost £177,030. There are no final prices yet for the European market, although we already know it won’t be cheap.
