The refreshed BMW iX has arrived at Spanish dealerships, and its price is revealed — but be warned, start saving up.
Following a subtle aesthetic refresh and, by contrast, significant updates to its electric motors, the updated BMW iX begins sales in Spain.

BMW began 2025 with the announcement of the restyle for the iX, its fully electric luxury SUV, presented more than four years ago and crying out for an update. Despite this, the German brand has introduced subtle changes both outside and inside, with the bulk of the changes concentrated in its powertrains, which, besides being renamed, now receive more power.
Recapping the changes introduced, BMW presents the new iX with both front and rear bumpers featuring larger body-colored areas and a design in which almost no seams are visible. At the front, the grille has a new design with a structure of vertical and diagonal lines inside, which can now optionally be ordered with BMW Iconic Glow lighting, led by headlights whose interior design has been redefined with vertical elements for the daytime running lights and turn signals. Finally, the exterior is enhanced by an expanded color palette with a large number of shades.

The interior design of the iX remains unchanged, and the changes introduced by BMW focus mainly on the optional M Sport package, which receives new sports seats — multifunction M seats upholstered as standard in a combination of perforated microfiber/Sensatec, which can optionally be replaced with natural leather. It is worth noting that this package, together with the M Sport Pro, will be essential if we want to equip the iX with an expanded set of features all at once, since all versions will have a single base trim that includes the following as standard:
- Aerodynamic wheels
- Adaptive LED headlights and LED rear lights
- High beam assistant
- BMW Live Cockpit Plus with BMW Curved Display
- BMW Operating System 8.5 with navigation
- Harman Kardon surround sound system
- Electric front seats
- Heated front seats
- Heated steering wheel
- Dual-zone climate control
- Wireless charger
- Boot separation net
- Boost heat pump
- BMW My Modes
- Connected Package Professional
- TeleServices
- Driving Assistant Plus
- Active Guard
- Active passenger protection system
- Parking Assistant with Active Parking Distance Control
- Reversing camera
- Mode 3 charging cable

On top of this equipment, we can fit the M Sport package, which adds 21-inch M wheels, interior upholstery in black and Atlas grey, M Dunkelsilber interior trim, multifunction M Sport seats, anthracite grey headliner trim and an M Sport leather steering wheel. As a complement to this package, there is the other M Sport Pro package, which adds 22-inch M wheels, red brake calipers and M Shadow Line lights. Obviously, across all these packages, including the standard one, we will have a long list of optional items to add to our equipment.

Mechanically, the range comprises what we could consider the entry-level engine, called the iX xDrive45, with power increased to 408 CV and a battery now with a capacity of 94.8 kWh. On the next step up is the iX xDrive60, which also sees its power increased to 544 CV and a battery whose capacity is likewise increased to 109.1 kWh. The third and final step is the sporty iX M70 xDrive, which delivers 659 CV and is equipped with a 108.9 kWh battery.
With all of this, the new BMW iX is now available to order at prices starting from 87,850 euros for the iX xDrive45, while the iX xDrive60 starts from 105,850 euros and, finally, the powerful iX M70 xDrive starts from 132,500 euros.
