The renewed Citroën C5 Aircross is already available in Spain, and this is how its range and pricing will look
One month after its unveiling, Citroën reveals how the range of the renewed C5 Aircross will be made up and what its price will be in Spain, where it will arrive in May

Launched in 2018, the Citroën C5 Aircross has risen to the top of the French brand’s sales ranking thanks to strong sales: in the Spanish market alone, it has sold more than 18,000 units since its debut. But to stay right at the top, you need to offer an appealing product, and the C5 Aircross was already due for an update, something Citroën finally unveiled last month.
Now, just one month after the world first saw the restyle it has undergone, Citroën is starting sales of the new C5 Aircross in our country, where we already know how the range will be made up and what its price will be. But first, let’s briefly recap what the renewed C5 Aircross brings.

On the outside, the most important changes focus on the front, where the new grille stands out, with the double chevron growing in size and two parallel lines that seem to merge with the new light signature of the LED headlights. Meanwhile, at the lower part, the bumper has been redesigned and the air intake design has been modified, and the lower protection can also change colour depending on the chosen version. From the side, where the main changes end, the new 19-inch wheel designs will stand out.

Inside, the most notable feature is the new generation of Citroën Advanced Comfort seats, which can be upholstered in the new fabrics being used and even Alcántara or perforated leather, as seen on the centre console, where you’ll find a new leather-effect trim. The centre console also houses another new element: a 10-inch touchscreen positioned higher up, just above the redesigned air vents.

The new Citroën C5 Aircross will, as is customary, offer a high level of personalisation, with six body colours to choose from, one of which is entirely new, and four roof colours. You can also opt for Colour Packs, as well as a wide selection of alloy wheels in 18- or 19-inch sizes. As standard, the C5 Aircross range will consist of four versions with petrol or diesel engines (if you opt for the plug-in hybrid, it will only be available in the Feel Pack and Shine Pack versions), which are:
- Feel: this version includes, among other things, Citroën Advanced Comfort seats, a 12.3-inch customisable digital instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, 18-inch alloy wheels and chrome exhaust tailpipes.
- Feel Pack: on top of the above, it adds new 18-inch Pulsar alloy wheels in diamond-cut two-tone finish, front parking sensors, a reversing camera with Top Rear Vision, keyless entry and start, fog lights with static cornering function, and electrically folding exterior mirrors.

- C-Series special edition: adds the new 10-inch touchscreen with My Citroën Drive and the new Anodised Bronze Colour Pack for the exterior.
- Shine Pack: includes black grained leather upholstery and the new grey leather-effect fabric on the upper part of the seats, 19-inch Art wheels in diamond-cut two-tone finish, electric driver’s seat, heated front seats and Highway Driver Assist.

But that’s not all: depending on the version chosen, the new Citroën C5 Aircross can be specified with five interior ambiences, each offering a higher level of quality and materials. These ambiences are made up as follows:
- Access ambience: features new blue stitching, although if preferred, the stitching can match the colour of the other ambiences.
- Wild Black: replaces the Wild Grey ambience and features the new black SAO fabric combined with a grey leather-effect fabric on the upper part of the seats.
- Urban Black: this ambience combines black Alcántara and a black leather-effect fabric.
- Metropolitan Black: replaces the Metropolitan Grey ambience and includes new black grained leather combined with a grey leather-effect fabric on the upper part of the seats.
- Hype Black: the top-of-the-range ambience, combining new perforated Paloma leather and dark blue Nappa leather on the upper part of the seats, along with access to an extensive comfort equipment package.

Mechanically, the new Citroën C5 Aircross will be available with the 130 hp PureTech petrol engine with a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed EAT automatic gearbox. If you prefer diesel, there is the 130 hp BlueHDi engine with the same gearbox options. Finally, there is the 225 hp plug-in hybrid powertrain, paired exclusively with the eight-speed EAT automatic transmission.
The new Citroën C5 Aircross will reach Spanish dealerships from next May, priced from 25,585 euros for the combustion engines and from 35,750 euros for the plug-in hybrid powertrain.
