The Singer 911: a look back under the skin of the Porsche 993

Singer Vehicle Design specializes in preparing Porsche 911 with exquisite retro taste, inherited from the Porsche of the 70s. To do so, you only need a 911 that predates 1994 (the 993), to see it transformed into a Porsche (I would say a 1980 911), one of the most beautiful 911s.
During the customization process, the Singer 911 takes shape without leaving aside the Porsche that gives it life, since it uses many elements from the donor car. It keeps the same 3.8-litre engine with 410 hp, although the internal engine parts, down to the pistons, are completely replaced. The Singer 911 also adopts a control unit, traction control and a six-speed manual gearbox.
To keep its retro character, the Singer 911 also features Recaro leather seats, imitating the original seats of the 1970s, and a Heuer stopwatch right at the centre of the dashboard.
A true beauty for 170,000 euros, which has already delivered the first example to its fortunate owner and is now preparing a second model to order. If this kind of backward-looking customization is your thing, a gallery of the Singer 911 follows below.
