The Skoda Octavia Combi Y-Line brings greater sportiness at a moderate price

Following the renewal applied, and entirely necessary, earlier this year to the whole Skoda Octavia family, a new member now arrives with a character that aims to be sportier, called Y-Line. Unfortunately, it will not sit as a direct younger sibling to the Octavia RS version, but for all those who do not need so much power, they can always have a more sporty look with this model.

The Y-Line package dresses the Combi version of the Octavia, the most family-oriented of the range, based on the Ambition trim. On the exterior, it is visually distinguished by black-coloured mouldings designed to give a carbon effect, located on the sides and below the tailgate, as well as several chrome elements such as the roof rails, the mirrors, and black rear windows. The exterior is finished off with 17-inch “Trius” alloy wheels.

Inside, there are also small changes in line with the image intended for the exterior, making the standard equipment of the Ambition version more complete. Notable elements include the three-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel, upholstered in leather, as well as leather on the upper part of the front seats.

Mechanically, the Skoda Octavia Combi Y-Line can only be fitted with the 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine with 150 CV of power, although customers can choose between the 6-speed manual gearbox or the 7-speed DSG automatic, with consumption of 5 litres or 5.3 litres per 100 kilometres respectively. It also incorporates the sporty chassis with the Driving Mode Selector, with which the configuration that best suits the moment can be chosen.

The Skoda Octavia Combi Y-Line is now available in Spain, with a price of 20,890 euros for the manual version and 21,890 euros if the automatic gearbox is chosen. This price offer already includes campaigns and financing, as well as four years of maintenance.
