The Spyker C8 Aileron bids farewell with three special and spectacular units
These three special edition models will mark the end of the Spyker C8 Aileron, which will be replaced by the C8 Preliator, featuring a spectacular and special livery

There are companies that specialise in building competition cars that are not very well known in the general automotive market. Moreover, these are firms that devote part of their time to creating customised and special models. This is the case of the Dutch company Spyker, which developed the C8 Aileron, a model based on its competition cars that will leave the market over the coming months.
But it will not do so quietly; the brand wants to go out in style, creating three special units that will make this farewell quite interesting. They will be called the C8 Aileron LM85, in reference to the C8 Laviolette LM85, and will feature a riveted bodywork, with large wheel arches and air intakes made of aluminium.

Each of these cars will receive a unique livery, which pays tribute to the Spyker Squadron. The first of them will have a Jet Black bodywork with decorative touches in Crimson Red, while the second will be just the opposite, a Crimson Red bodywork with touches of Jet Black. The third also uses a Jet Black base, but its finishes are gold.

Inside, they will work with the same colour schemes, as well as employing more elaborate elements so that the driver is comfortable and has a fairly attractive setup at their disposal. The Chronoswiss gauges, an aluminium panel and the exposed gear lever are some of the features that will be found in the cabin of all three models.

And alongside this impressive appearance, an engine that is in no way inferior. It is a V8 engine that delivers 525 CV and a maximum torque of 600 Nm, mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. With all this, the car can reach 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and attain a top speed of 322 km/h.
The company has stated that each of the Spyker C8 Aileron has been unique, but these last three cars promise to be something completely different and very special. They will be the last of their range and will pave the way for Spyker’s next project, the C8 Preliator.
