Cybertruck Tesla Electric Cars Range / versions Pick-up
The Tesla Cybertruck joins the police force and looks spectacular in uniform
The Tesla Cybertruck is a remarkably impressive vehicle, and it was only a matter of time before it became a police vehicle, fully equipped.

Law enforcement agencies are always looking for vehicles that meet the requirements of their demanding surveillance missions. They must be tough, powerful and capable enough to outperform criminals when necessary. Electric vehicles are already reaching that world, so it is easy to see battery models fulfilling that role, even in less demanding missions.
It was only a matter of time before the Tesla Cybertruck joined a police fleet, and that moment has now arrived. The company specialising in converting street vehicles into police cars, UP.FIT, has worked on the model and turned it into an efficient police car, creating a very eye-catching vehicle ready for action.

The Cybertruck’s configuration allows it to be fitted with equipment typical of police fleets. Emergency lights, a public address system, a communications set and other elements needed to carry out the service efficiently can be added.
It is also possible to add a compartment for possible detainees, and even a space to transport a police dog, making it a very practical vehicle for the police. It can even, if necessary, be used for tactical or rescue missions.

To improve its performance, modifications can be made to the braking system, and customers can choose from new sets of alloy wheels and tyres. It will have internet connectivity via Starlink, and updates will be available so it can be used as an extreme off-roader.
Three modes of use
The Tesla Cybertruck is expected to be usable in three different ways: as a patrol car, an administration vehicle and a tactical vehicle. There is no official data yet, but forecasts suggest a range of 547 kilometres and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds.
The patrol version could be fitted with a siren and emergency lights, 18-inch forged wheels and tyres prepared for pursuit. It will include a spotlight, and the centre console will have a new design, intended to hold everything needed to provide service.
Delivery of the Tesla Cybertruck to the police
According to the company, this variant has generated considerable interest among different police forces, and a large order book is expected. Deliveries will begin from the third quarter of 2024.
