The Toyota Corolla introduces updates to its design and equipment from €25,000

At the start of 2023, Toyota launched the latest version of its iconic model in Spain, the Toyota Corolla Electric Hybrid 2024. One year later, this family of vehicles continues to evolve, with substantial improvements to both its styling and its equipment, consolidating its position as a benchmark in hybrid technology and innovative design.

Smart Digital Key

Committed to staying at the forefront, Toyota has integrated the revolutionary Smart Digital Key system into the Corolla Electric Hybrid 2024. This technology allows drivers to use their smartphones as virtual keys, enabling them to lock, unlock and even drive the vehicle. This service, part of the Toyota Connect Smart services, will be provided at no additional cost during the first year after the vehicle is registered.

nanoe™X

Drawing on earlier models such as the Yaris and the Yaris Cross, the new version of the Corolla 2024 family incorporates the advanced nanoe™X particle ionizer in the cabin. This technology aims to improve air quality by eliminating or reducing odours, allergens, pollen and harmful pollutants. It has also been designed to suppress the activity of mould, viruses and bacteria, creating a healthier environment for the vehicle’s occupants.

New colours

The Corolla Touring Sports 2024 features the intriguing two-tone Bristol Green colour, exclusive to the GR SPORT Premium trim. The Corolla 5-door offers this option for the GR SPORT Premium and Style Edition trims. The Corolla Sedan shines in the elegant Polar Silver, an iconic shade that adds distinction to its presence. In addition, both the Corolla 5-door and the Touring Sports in GR SPORT Premium trim feature lower side mouldings, exterior mirror housings and a front moulding in liquid black, underlining their sophistication.

Corolla 2024 family

The Corolla Electric Hybrid range comprises 5-door, estate (Touring Sports) and saloon (Sedan) versions, all maintaining high standards of quality, innovative design and cutting-edge technology.

The 5-door version offers two powertrain options with Toyota Electric Hybrid technology — 140H and 200H — and up to four different trims. From the ACTIVE PLUS with Smart Digital Key to the Style Edition, which includes Adaptive High Beam System (AHS) and a 10″ head-up display.

The Corolla Touring Sports is available with 140 CV and 200 CV hybrid electric powertrains and four equipment levels, offering versatility and performance.

The Corolla Sedan Electric Hybrid, meanwhile, offers a single hybrid electric option (140 CV) and two distinct trims, ECO and Style Plus, the latter with Smart Digital Key and nanoe™X.

Fifth-generation hybrid technology

The fifth generation of the Toyota hybrid electric system fitted to the redesigned Corolla family has undergone significant improvements. Increasing total output, enhancing performance and reducing CO2 emissions, this technology delivers a more natural and enjoyable driving experience.

The 1.8-litre hybrid electric system now produces 140 CV, cutting the 0–100 km/h acceleration time by 1.8 seconds. The 2.0-litre hybrid electric system delivers 196 CV and shaves half a second off the acceleration time. In addition, specific adjustments have been made to achieve smoother acceleration, reducing powertrain noise under acceleration.

The redesigned Corolla Electric Hybrid family is available through the Toyota Official Dealer Network in Spain, with prices starting from €25,000 for the Corolla Electric Hybrid, €26,500 for the Corolla Touring Sports Electric Hybrid and €30,050 for the Corolla Sedan Electric Hybrid.

As with other models in the Toyota range, the Corolla Electric Hybrid can benefit from up to 15 years of warranty thanks to Toyota Relax, a programme that extends the official warranty through regular maintenance carried out at the Toyota Official Dealer Network in Spain. With the Toyota Corolla Electric Hybrid 2024, the brand continues its commitment to innovation, offering a driving experience that is unique in its class.
