Prius+ Toyota Hybrid Cars Minivans
The Toyota Prius+ 2018 boasts a higher level of safety and technology thanks to some attractive new features
Toyota offers a higher level of safety and technology for the Prius+. All versions will come as standard with the Toyota Safety Sense, for greater protection.

Some models have left such a big mark on the history of the motoring world that they can afford to unveil new variants over the years. This is the case with the Toyota Prius, a vehicle that has set a very clear before and after, something the Japanese hybrid wanted to reclaim with its seven-seat version. The Prius+ can already be considered an old acquaintance, but the brand has wanted to highlight its appeal with improvements in safety and technology.
Toyota has presented a new update for the Prius+, one of the most efficient and least polluting MPVs on the market today. To continue the success of the Japanese model, the company has ensured it offers a better package with a substantial number of features, both standard and optional. In this way, the Prius+ presents itself as a much more attractive vehicle, not only because of its thoroughly proven mechanics, but also thanks to an upgrade that affects the car in every way.
The main novelty in the Prius MPV is that all versions now come as standard with the Toyota Safety Sense. It is a set of driver assistance systems developed by the Japanese manufacturer, offering the driver features such as lane departure warning, pre-collision safety system, pedestrian detection and traffic sign recognition, among others.

Furthermore, the trim levels of the Toyota Prius+ remain the same: ECO, ADVANCE and EXECUTIVE. However, each of them incorporates certain new features. Whichever you choose, the company fits as standard an infotainment system with a 4.2-inch screen, 16-inch alloy wheels and keyless entry and start.
At the same time, the ADVANCE version raises the level of equipment with 17-inch wheels, an electrochromic rear-view mirror and Smart Entry on the driver’s door, the passenger door and the tailgate. Another area where there are changes is the paint palette of the Toyota Prius+, as two new colours have been added: Garnet and Platinum Bronze.
There are no novelties in the mechanical section as the Prius+ continues to rely on the well-known 136 CV hybrid powertrain, power more than sufficient to move the Japanese model with ease. This is because Toyota committed to a complete overhaul of the engine in 2016, achieving more linear acceleration and less noise entering the cabin when driving with the petrol engine running.

Without a doubt, the new Toyota Prius+ stands out as an option very worth considering, not only for its undoubted reliability, but also for the attractive price the company offers. The Japanese MPV is available from 25,450 euros, a figure at which many compact cars sit, while the Prius+ can offer you much more thanks to the segment it belongs to. At the same time, a monthly payment is also an option thanks to Pay Per Drive, a pay-per-use financing scheme, which is available from €235/month.
