The Toyota Proace Verso Electric now available for pre-order in Spain

The addition of this range to the commercial vehicle fleetToyota of electric vans continues with the arrival of the new Toyota Proace Verso Electric. A very suitable solution for the transport of people and goods, especially those considered last mile, that is, those requiring transport from the logistics hub to the final destination.

The new Proace Verso Electric is available in four different trim levels, Combi GX, Shuttle VX, Family Advance and Family Advance Plus, each designed for a different type of transport. The first two focus on goods transport and the last two on passenger transport, with different add-ons to make their function more pleasant and efficient.

Same equipment, electric mobility

The electric version of the Proace Verso retains all the characteristics of the model but replaces the combustion engine with a fully clean drive system. In addition to the body variants, it is available with two lithium-ion batteries. The first is a 50 kWh battery, which offers a range of 230 km on the WLTP cycle.

The second battery has more capacity and reaches 75 kWh. With this battery, the Proace will achieve a range of 330 kilometres, also on the WLTP cycle. In all cases the motor is an electric drive unit that delivers 100 kW, equivalent to 130 CV and a top speed of 130 km/h, electronically limited.

To charge the battery, the Proace Verso Electric features an 11 kW charger that allows a full charge in 4 hours and 45 minutes for the 50 kWh battery and in 7 hours for the 75 kWh battery. It can also use a 50 kW fast charger, which will allow a full charge in 43 minutes for the smaller-capacity battery and in 1 hour and 15 minutes for the second. If a 75 kW fast charger is used, the times are reduced even further.

As for equipment, it is identical to that used in the versions with conventional engines, so the user can be sure it will fulfil its function without losing any of its capabilities. It is offered with various options to improve its functionality and different types of charger, depending on the needs of each company or self-employed professional.
