Toyota Yaris Hybrid Cars Compact
The Toyota Yaris is getting ready to receive its new generation in 2026
The Toyota Yaris is now entering the final months of its fourth generation, ahead of the arrival of the fifth generation, and promises to boost interest in the car

The Toyota Yaris is entering its final months of its current generation and will soon be ready to welcome the next one, the fifth. It will arrive throughout 2026 and promises to renew this well-known Japanese compact so that it remains one of the benchmarks for drivers around the world.
Within this new generation, the electric variant will be included. It will arrive somewhat later, in 2027, and will mark the arrival of the first fully electric Yaris, which represents the move of this model from a hybrid option to one with zero emissions. This will allow those who want to enjoy the versatility and practicality of a Yaris to already drive an electric version.

That said, Toyota remains faithful to its strategy of continuing to promote hybrid versions as the main form of propulsion, without abandoning full electrification, which, despite delays in its full rollout, will be the future of mobility.
Continuity in design
The new Toyota Yaris will keep the look that makes it recognisable, although it will feature aesthetic and design innovations that make it more modern and more in line with the tastes of buyers in the second half of the 2020s. Inside, work will focus on improving cabin materials, paying greater attention to ergonomics and introducing cutting-edge technology to make driving a Yaris more enjoyable and safer.
As for pricing, the hybrid version is expected to remain around 25,000 euros, although it could drop to around 20,000 euros thanks to occasional promotions and launch discounts. The electric version, on the other hand, could be priced at around 30,000 euros. At these prices, it would remain competitively positioned against similar models from both European and Asian manufacturers.
