The Transporter series is being filmed in Canada, and the Renault Megane RS 265 Cup is one of its stars

If we’ve kept you informed about every scene, trailer and final cut of Fast and Furious, how could we not give you the heads-up that another film very well known to car fans, Transporter, is getting a follow-up on the small screen, with a series about the story of this driver specialising in high-speed getaways, played on the big screen by Jason Statham.

Stratan has handed his role over to Chris Vance in this new series created by HBO Canada, the French channel M6 and the German broadcaster RTL. The action has been moved to French-speaking Canada, with some locations in Paris for certain scenes. Transporter: The Series is the name of this series based on the film, which once again will show the high-speed driving that entertains so much precisely because it is so unrealistic.

Well, in one of the latest episodes being filmed, we’ll be able to see a Renault Megane RS 265 Cup from RenaultSport, while the producers promise that quite a few sports cars will be shown throughout the rest of the series’ episodes.

If just seeing chases driven by a 265-horsepower Megane RS is already quite the bonus, let’s hope the wait for the series is worth it, car-wise, of course.
