The XPeng X5 finally arrives in Europe, and these are its specifications and price
The electric saloon offered by the Chinese brand arrives in four European markets as a bridgehead to showcase an attractive car with a competitive price.

Cars originating from China are becoming increasingly popular. These are cars that come with many interesting features and that, as a general rule, are priced considerably below similar models of European origin. XPeng is one of those brands that are making a strong entry into the European market, and it has just presented the XPeng X5, an electric saloon whose features and price for Europe we can now share.
For the time being, only four European countries will be able to enjoy this electric saloon, although more are expected to be added gradually. It would not be a bad thing if it were also sold in Spain, so let’s look at some of its features in the version sold in Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.

The brand’s third model in Europe
The XPeng X5 has arrived after the launch of the XPeng G3 and the XPeng P7. It occupies the electric saloon segment and measures 4.81 metres in length, 1.84 metres in width and 1.52 metres in height. The wheelbase is 2.77 metres, which allows an interior fit for five occupants.
As an electric vehicle, it can have two boots. The rear one has a capacity of 450 litres, to which is added a front boot with an additional 70 litres. In terms of styling, the model does not hide its Asian origin, although it offers a large number of elements adapted for the European user.
Engine and batteries
Alongside the saloon’s elegant presence and the comfort offered by the cabin, there is an electric powertrain that delivers interesting mobility. The electric battery that stores the energy has a capacity of 66 kWh, which gives the model a range of 465 kilometres. The electric motor, located on the front axle, produces 155 kW and a maximum torque of 310 Nm.
Price of the XPeng P5
As I have already mentioned, the model will only be available in those four countries. They are the ones that have most readily embraced electric cars, so they serve as a bridgehead for its introduction. The starting price is 48,000 euros, which is a very competitive price for everything the XPeng P5 offers. Spain is excluded from the model’s distribution, at least for the time being, but we hope that in a few months the brand will reconsider and bring the car to our country.
