The Yangwang U9 is ready to go on sale in China, and we know the brand wants to stand out from the rest of the cars sold in its market. To do so, in addition to many elements exclusive to the brand, it has equipped this car with the new Disus X suspension. This suspension is reserved for the most exclusive and special models and is capable of elevating the category of the model.

This suspension allows for quite impressive feats, such as making the car “dance” on the track and perform quite impressive stunts. Among them, it can even jump over obstacles and surprise both those watching from outside and the driver of the model.

The Disus X suspension allows the car to separate from the asphalt and overcome obstacles by jumping over them. The maximum distance the car can jump with this suspension system is six meters. This is measured from the point where the front wheels leave the asphalt to where the rear wheels land after the jump.

The height the car can reach is 3.5 centimeters. A very short distance, but one that allows it to overcome small obstacles, such as potholes. Although this feature offered by the suspension is very eye-catching, what will probably matter most is its behavior when taking corners and facing everyday driving.

The Yangwang U9, a high-performance car

The Yangwang U9 is a high-performance car that aims to be a benchmark in the Chinese market. The model has a considerable length of five meters and moves thanks to the four motors it features, one located at each wheel. Together they deliver a combined output of 1,300 CV.

This allows it to achieve an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.36 seconds and a top speed of 392 km/h. On the Nürburgring circuit lap, it recorded 7:17.9 minutes, a figure that is not bad at all. The battery it features has a capacity of 80 kWh and can be recharged from 30% to 80% in ten minutes with a fast charger. This is made possible by the 800-volt architecture on which it is built.

The price of the car is not cheap, as it costs 1,250,000 yuan, which equates to roughly 215,000 euros.
