Ferrari LaFerrari Convertibles Hybrid Cars Range / versions Supercars
They're here! We have the first images of the Ferrari LaFerrari Spider

“At last!” we exclaimed after seeing the first images of a car that has been generating a lot of talk for months and months. First there were rumours about whether it would arrive or not, which were later confirmed by Sergio Marchionne and, of course, more rumours and possible details about what the final design of one of the most anticipated convertibles of the past year would look like.
But that’s it. The day has arrived and you now have the Ferrari LaFerrari Spider before you. Through the social media platform Twitter, Ferrari has left us speechless by showing these images. And it has left us speechless because it did so without warning, at least for those of us who are not regular customers of the brand.
As for the styling, everything has gone as we expected since we saw the silhouette of the car sketched in a leaked image several months ago. It features a “targa”-style roof, and everything else remains practically intact visually.

For now we only have these photos and not a single specific detail about it. That is, we don’t know how many units the manufacturer of the “cavallino rampante” will produce, nor is the engine 100% certain, nor the weight increase, performance compared with the closed-body LaFerrari… nothing. And no, if you’re wondering how much each unit will cost, we can’t tell you.
Now that Ferrari has already shown some official images, we are itching to learn all those details we mentioned in the previous paragraph. If anything is practically certain, though still unconfirmed, it is the engine. The most logical and normal thing is that they will use the same hybrid powertrain as the closed-body model, that is, the petrol V12 working together with an electric propulsion system that develops 963 horsepower at full output.

After all of the above, we can only beg the Italian supercar company to inform us of every detail of this Spider. In terms of mechanics (probably), technology and styling, the Porsche 918 Spyder now has a rival that looks it straight in the eye.
