This is a Mercedes-AMG E63S State, but it is not the estate you would expect

The tuning house Wheelsandmore has worked on this Mercedes estate model, which is already spectacular on its own, and turned it into a powerful supercar

Although it is a Mercedes, when people think of an estate car they do not expect an excessively powerful car or one with the features you might find in other types of vehicle. But of course, not everyone is happy with the car that comes out of the factory, and although they want to be safe with their children, they also want to show off a great-looking, powerful car. That is why the tuner Wheelsandmore has been thinking that a father or mother of a family does not have to drive just any car. The Mercedes-AMG E65S State is certainly not just any car, but with the work it has received in this transformation, it is something more.

This package has been designed so that the high-end estate gets remarkably close to what a supercar could offer. Let us first look at the “factory” figures. The Mercedes-AMG E65S State comes with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 612 CV, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h. That is no small thing for a family car.

The personalisation kit offered by Wheelsandmore costs around 3,800 euros in Germany and raises the engine’s output to 702 CV and peak torque to 965 Nm. This power delivers an incredible experience when you get behind the wheel. In terms of acceleration, the time is reduced by a few tenths of a second, which brings this car closer to what many of those considered supercars offer.

There are two milder versions of this model. The first produces 641 CV and peak torque of 920 Nm, and a second with 670 CV and peak torque of 960 Nm. In all three versions there is the option for the car’s ECU to remove the top speed limiter, allowing the Mercedes-AMG E63S Estate to run at the full speed it is capable of. How fast that is, for the moment, is not known.

The suspension has been adjusted to keep the car under control, and the wheels have been replaced, with dimensions of 10 x 21 inches at the front and 11 x 21 at the rear, fitted with 265/30 and 295/25 tyres respectively. Enjoy the photos, which show the work carried out on the car.
