This is the price of the new Seat Leon Cupra R in Spain

The Seat Leon Cupra R is the most powerful road-going model ever built by the Spanish brand.

Following its international debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the new SEAT León CUPRA R reveals all the details that make it the most powerful road-going model ever built by the Spanish brand. In Spain, 40 units of this special CUPRA version will be sold, priced from 44,585 euros.

The new León CUPRA R is the crowning glory of SEAT’s most sporting range. It is a limited edition of 799 units worldwide (40 of them will remain within our borders). This exclusive model stands out for its balance of dynamism, comfort, versatility, safety and technology. All of this combined with a level of performance and driving sensations never before seen in SEAT.

The bodywork of the León CUPRA R is characterised by copper-coloured painted details, such as the exterior mirrors, the powerful air intakes for cooling the brakes and the SEAT logos. The 19-inch alloy wheels are of exclusive design and finished in copper and black. Three body colours are available: ‘Midnight Black’ and ‘Pyrenees Grey’ (both metallic and at no extra cost), and the exclusive ‘Pyrenees Grey Matt’ colour, an optional extra costing 2,580 euros.

Carbon fibre takes centre stage on the new León CUPRA R: it features on the front splitter, the roof rear spoiler, the side skirts and the rear diffuser, which houses twin powerful exhaust outlets.

There will be two versions of the new SEAT León CUPRA R, always with front-wheel drive: 300 units will feature a DSG gearbox with six speeds and the well-known 2.0 TSI engine producing 300 CV, while the remaining 499 will come with a manual gearbox, also with six speeds, but the 2.0 TSI engine will receive a slight power increase to 310 CV.

The León CUPRA R has an improved suspension setup compared with the standard version, and the DCC adaptive suspension (Dynamic Chassis Control) has been recalibrated. In addition, the car includes a progressive steering system, a VAQ Haldex-type limited-slip differential, a new exhaust system and an engine control unit whose management has been recalibrated.
