Cyberster MG Convertibles Electric Cars
This MG Cyberster with red top pays tribute to the brand by drawing on two classics
This variant is a special edition of the model that pays tribute to two classics of the brand in the year the centenary of MG is celebrated.

The brand MG is about to turn 100 years old, a round number that deserves a celebration. Although its first era ended about 20 years ago and it was bought by the Chinese multinational SAIC Group, which took over its entire legacy and ushered in a new era. One of the most popular models of the new MG brand is the Cyberster, a convertible that has arrived on the market generating a lot of anticipation.
This model was chosen so that MG could pay tribute to the brand’s classic era. This has been done with the special edition MG Cyberster Red Top Edition. It is a version that will be sold in China and that incorporates the design and image of two classic models: the MGA, from 1956, and the MGB, from 1967.

Both models were presented with a pearl white body and a red fabric soft top. The MG Magnette, launched in 1958, also featured a red roof, although in that case it was fixed. With the Cyberster Red Top special edition, that scheme returns and the brand’s centenary is celebrated.

This means the entry-level version features a single rear-axle motor. It delivers 310 CV and a 64 kWh battery. This variant offers a range of 500 kilometres. The second version uses the same motor, but the battery is 77 kWh, with a range of 580 kilometres.
The dual-motor version, with one motor on each axle, raises output to 536 CV. In this case the battery is 77 kWh, although the range is rated at 520 kilometres, since consumption is higher.
