Toyota 4Runner 40th Anniversary: this is how they celebrate 40 years of this classic SUV
Although it is not sold in Spain, we are going to review what Toyota offers with this edition to celebrate the first 40 years of the model on sale.

We know there are models that will never reach the Spanish market, but that does not mean we should not give them some space so you can get to know them. The Toyota 4Runner is one of those models that is sold in the United States but never finds its way into our country. Now, as this SUV turns 40 years on the market, the Japanese brand has offered its American customers a special version to celebrate those four decades.
The special edition is based on the SR5 Premium version. On the outside you can choose from three colours: white, Midnight Black Metallic and Barcelona Red Metallic, a nod to our country, even though we cannot have this model on our market. Another feature that makes it stand out is the 17-inch alloy wheels in bronze.

The model and version badges, together with a grille matching the body colour and the Toyota badge in the same colour as the wheels. The most eye-catching part of the model is marked by the side stripes. This design features yellow, orange and red colours. They run along the side and up the C-pillar, wrapping around the rear window. The same design can be seen on the front, above the grille, and on the tailgate.
