Toyota restructures the Yaris range and adds a new trim level to its lineup
The Toyota Yaris restructures its trim range with the introduction of the new Trendy trim, as well as a new engine associated with the Style trim

The Yaris is one of the most important models for Toyota in the European market, a model that, thanks to the brand’s good work, has established itself as one of the most sought-after. In this regard, and to consolidate its position as one of the benchmarks in its segment, while we await the arrival of a new generation, Toyota has introduced changes to the Yaris range with a restructuring of the range and its trim levels.
Before getting into the heart of the Toyota Yaris trim levels, I want to highlight that across the entire range its color palette is expanded with the new Celestite Grey shade, joining the existing Everest Green, Jet Black, Classic White, Florida Blue and Emotion Red. More specifically, Thunder Grey will remain exclusive to the GR Sport trim, as well as the option of a two-tone body for the GR Sport Plus trim.

In this way, the Active trim remains the entry point to the range and is linked to the 116 hp Hybrid 120H engine, but with the particularity that it now has its price reduced by 400 euros. This does not mean the quality of the equipment it includes is diminished, with features such as the following:
- 16-inch alloy wheels
- Black cloth upholstery
- Keyless entry and start system
- Electrically adjustable, heated and folding exterior mirrors
- Light and rain sensors
- Emergency braking warning
- Automatic high beam
- Halogen front headlights
- LED rear lights
- Lane keeping assist
- Rear view camera
- Pre-collision system with pedestrian and cyclist detection
- Traffic sign recognition
- Adaptive cruise control
- Hill start assist
- Tyre pressure sensor
- Emergency stop system
- Fatigue detector
- 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- 6 speakers
- Bluetooth
- USB-C port
- Leather gear lever and steering wheel
- Automatic climate control
- Push-button start system
- Center armrest
- Electrochromic interior rear-view mirror
- 60:40 split-folding rear seats
- Electric front and rear windows
- Electric parking brake

Now, one step up and also linked to the Hybrid 120H engine, we have the new Trendy trim, which expands the style options and adds as standard all of the above along with features such as the following:
- 17-inch two-tone wheels
- Front headlights with LED light guide
- Tinted rear glass
- Keyless entry and start system
- Front headlights with automatic light shut-off
- LED front headlights
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Wireless smartphone charger
- Sport front seats
- 7-inch digital instrument cluster

At the third step, the Style trim has now moved up, and it is now linked to the 130 hp Hybrid 130H engine instead of the Hybrid 120H it previously used. In addition to everything above, it includes as standard features such as the following:
- 17-inch wheels
- Mixed cloth and synthetic leather upholstery
- Blind spot detection
- Front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking
- Safe exit assist
- Rear cross-traffic alert
- 10.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- Virtual assistant
- Automatic dual-zone climate control
- Electric lumbar support for the driver
- 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster
- Smart Digital Key
- Heated front seats
- Heated steering wheel
- Boot with double floor
Finally, the Yaris will remain available in the other two remaining trims, known as Business and GR Sport, the latter adding a more sporty interior and exterior look. Additionally, as a complement, we will still have the Style Plus trim (which includes features such as the panoramic roof and Head-Up Display) as well as the GR Sport Plus trim.
The renewed Toyota Yaris range can now be ordered in Spain with prices starting from 21,500 euros, while the new Trendy trim starts from 22,500 euros.
