XPENG begins international deliveries of its P7+ saloon
The P7+ positions itself as a more practical and family-oriented option within the P7 family, complementing the standard P7 model, which is more geared towards sportiness thanks to its more dynamic character.
The Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPENG has just begun deliveries of its 2026 P7+ saloon in several international markets, and it is expected to arrive in Europe soon as well. This model is clearly positioned in the premium segment of the electric vehicle market, although it does not reach the level of luxury of other models, primarily from German brands, whose prices are also higher.
The XPENG P7+ was presented to the European market last January during the Brussels Motor Show and forms part of the brand’s global expansion strategy. The Chinese manufacturer’s initial intention is to sell it in 36 countries and regions around the world, which makes its aim to establish itself as an international brand very clear, not limiting its sphere of influence exclusively to its home market.

As we recently reported here at HighMotor, the XPENG P7+ is already available for order in Germany with a base price starting at just 46,600 euros. This price corresponds to the standard-range version with a single electric motor on the rear axle. The Chinese manufacturer offers two higher-specification versions in this same country, with prices reaching 53,600 euros before adding any extra equipment.
The range-extender version offered in China will not arrive in Europe
The European range of the P7+ is currently limited to three fully electric versions, unlike China, where an additional version with a range extender is also offered. This new XPENG saloon stands out for its 800V architecture, which allows extraordinarily short charging times. The Chinese manufacturer claims that it is possible to increase the charge level to 80 percent -we assume from 10 percent- in just 12 minutes, regardless of the battery pack fitted to the vehicle.
It is also worth highlighting that the high level of efficiency of this electric saloon, achieved by XPENG’s engineers, allows it to offer a range of up to 530 km under the WLTP homologation cycle with the largest-capacity battery pack, which is only 74.9 kWh. The Chinese manufacturer has thus managed to offer a notable range without having to resort to excessively large, heavy and costly battery packs.

The first shipments already reaching customers in non-European markets come from the company’s plants located in China. The units destined for the European market will, however, be produced on the Old Continent, more specifically at the Magna plant located in the Austrian town of Graz. At the end of last year, the first pre-series test units were already built there. Although series production of this electric saloon has not yet been officially confirmed, the first deliveries in European markets are expected to take place in April 2026.
