Underground Racing presents its Ferrari F430 with 1000CV

1000CV of power for an F430. This is the latest great feat from Underground Racing.

I’ve always wondered why car tuners make upgrade packages that dramatically boost the power of models. Why would you want 1000CV if you’re never going to use it, and I stress never, because not even on a race track could you make the most of the 1000CV that the Ferrari F430 modified by Underground Racing has.

Specialising in Lamborghinis and Ferraris, the American tuner has focused all its efforts on getting the maximum performance from the twin-turbo engine, fitted to the Ferrari F430 you can see in the photos, which delivered 1000CV on the dyno test it was subjected to.

Underground Racing offers four power kits for the F430. The first kit produces around 650CV on regular petrol, rising to 800CV on racing fuel, at a cost of 49,000 dollars. The second kit, modifications made to the turbo of the F430’s engine, allows 850CV on regular petrol and 1150CV on racing fuel, this second kit is priced at 79,000 dollars.

The third kit, with modifications directly to the engine, makes it possible to reach 950CV on regular petrol, rising to 1250CV on racing fuel, this third upgrade kit costs around 94,000 dollars.

The final kit, called the competition kit, allows 1000CV of power on regular petrol and 1350CV on racing fuel, installing this last kit costs 109,000 dollars.

Alongside the performance modifications, Underground Racing fits huge wheels of 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear, and the kits come with a 2-year or 24,000-kilometre warranty.
