Video: BMW M5 F10 vs Nissan GT-R, or in other words, King Kong vs Godzilla
Do you think the BMW M5 F10 and the Nissan GT-R have anything in common? On paper it seems so, but in practice nothing could be further from the truth.

The video sent to us by Autocar magazine through BMWBlog. is excellent. The British publication has tested the key points that every sports car enthusiast studies before choosing between two models, and I can tell you now, the video comes with a surprise.
Although on paper the BMW M5 F10 and the Nissan GT-R are practically identical, both models produce around 550 CV and cost a similar amount, around 80,000 euros, in practice the performance of the two models is far from similar. In acceleration tests, cornering stability, cornering speed and braking, the Nissan GT-R beats the BMW M5.
Even in ride comfort, an area where the BMW model should be superior, the GT-R wins the contest against the German model, from the point of view of the fortunate driver who tests the models.
The M5 is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. The engine features revolutionary twin-turbo technology which, thanks to its precise fuel injection and electronic valve control, delivers 560 CV in the 5,750-7,000 rpm range and 680 Nm of torque at just 1,500 rpm.
The Nissan GT-R, in its 2013 version, uses a 3.3 to 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine with 24 valves that produces 545 CV and 627 Nm of torque, which represents an increase of 15 CV over the 2012 model. In addition to more power, the 2013 revision of the GT-R includes improved brake cooling, more resilient seats and an optional sport driving package that reduces its weight by 90 kg.
