Vins Duecinquanta, a road bike with the spirit of Ferrari
Several engineers from Ferrari left the company to set up a firm dedicated to designing and developing the Vins Duecinquanta, which can be seen here

A couple of years ago, seven engineers from Ferrari decided to set up a company separate from the large manufacturer, focused on building motorcycles, and used the EICMA show to present a prototype. This year they wanted to go a step further and have presented the production model of that prototype, called Vins Duecinquanta in honour of its 2-stroke, 250 cc engine.
The know-how of the Ferrari engineers behind this model has made it possible to use many of the techniques employed by the Italian supercar maker to create a truly attractive motorcycle. They have used a monocoque chassis made of carbon fibre, although aluminium is also used to support the various components that need greater grip.

The use of carbon fibre allows a very carefully measured weight, with a total weight of 95 kilos including fuel and fluids. It also features several design innovations, such as a front suspension made up of two carbon swingarms operated by a shock absorber located on the steering stem. At the rear there is an adjustable monoshock mounted horizontally.

An important solution for the bike is cooling, since the radiator is located inside the frame, causing an airflow that feeds the engine and also takes care of removing hot air. The engine is a VTwin two-cylinder block set at 90º with electronic fuel injection and manages to deliver 80 CV of power.
The Vins Duecinquanta complies with Euro 4 regulations, so it can ride on European roads without problems. There is another version of the model, designed for racing, which has slightly more power and other more pronounced features.

The price of this motorcycle starts at 40,000 euros, although the competition version rises to 50,000 euros and can already be reserved. A motorcycle that impresses with its futuristic and attractive look. What do you think of this new proposal aimed at lovers of two-wheelers?
