Volkswagen Arteon R-LINE Performance, only 80 units for the fastest buyers

There are several versions of many models, but some of them arise to showcase all of a manufacturer’s capabilities and prove they can offer their buyers a truly striking car. In the case of Volkswagen, we find the Arteon R-LINE Performance. A variant of the saloon created to deliver only 80 units to an equal number of buyers.

The Volkswagen Arteon R-LINE features a range of equipment not present on other versions. The first thing we notice is the two-tone Gris Ceres bodywork with a black roof, which is only available on this model. The exterior look is completed by Rosario 20-inch alloy wheels and tinted rear windows, for a more luxurious and discreet appearance.

Comfortable interior

The interior has been designed to match the exterior specifications. The Nappa Carbon leather sports upholstery and there is an interior lighting system that can change the ambient lighting profile. The front seats are heated, and the rear seats can be heated as an option.

On-board safety is reinforced by several driver assistance systems, such as Park Assist, the Side Assist lane change system and the Front Assist emergency braking function. An LED High headlight system with Dynamic Light Assist has also been added, which prevents glare and improves road illumination.

The Discover Pro infotainment system features a 9.2-inch screen and wireless App-Connect system, plus voice control and a DAB+ digital radio receiver. The instrument panel is digital, and you can enjoy Keyless access and start, so there is no need to use the key for this.

Engine of the Arteon R-LINE Performance

The Volkswagen Arteon R-LINE Performance comes with two of the most efficient engines in the range. The entry-level 2.0-litre petrol engine delivers 190 CV, although buyers who opt for the top version can enjoy a power output of 272 CV, and it will be offered with the 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system.

The features of this limited model also include changes to the DCC adaptive suspension, which operates between the Comfort+ and Sport+ modes, on top of the Comfort, Normal, Sport and Individual modes. All of this makes this model a comfortable and practical vehicle for business trips, even long ones. The price is not yet available, although it will certainly not be expensive.
