Want a Lamborghini Aventador? Get ready to wait more than a year and a half

Following the presentation at the Geneva Motor Show of the Lamborghini Aventador by the Italian supercar manufacturer, its executives, and especially the Volkswagen Group, were boasting that in just a few days they had managed to sell out the entire production for its first year.

But that’s not all, because apparently demand for this vehicle, which is hardly surprising, remains sky-high. So much so that if, for example, you decided on Tuesday to go to your dealership and pay the 312,970 euros this car costs (in Germany), you would have to wait just over 18 months to receive it.

Now, what does this information tell us? Basically, if Lamborghini had planned to produce between 600 and 700 units this year, it could easily be sitting on orders slightly over 1,000 units. As I said, not bad at all for a vehicle that has landed at a price above 300,000 euros.

As a side note, this can only get bigger, because if we go by the post we published some time ago about Lamborghini’s plans through 2024, the Italian brand is due to show and even begin selling a roadster version of the Aventador.
