With this composure, the new Audi RS6 reaches 300 km/h

The new Audi RS6 is a true marvel of sportiness, something it confirms once again with this video in which it reaches 300 km/h without breaking a sweat.

Audi Rs6

The current market is increasingly focused on sporty SUVs, which has led us to forget a very special segment: that of sporty estates. But don’t worry, because the new Audi RS6 arrives to remind us of the existence of this sector and its extraordinary capabilities. The estate from Ingolstadt finds itself in the position of exceeding 300 km/h while also taking the little ones to school and doing a big grocery shop. The best part? How easy it is to do all of this at the controls of the Audi RS6.

Alongside this performance comes an aggressive styling that does not fall short of the four-ring estate. A rugged, exuberant front bumper already shows the first signs of a much more sophisticated aerodynamics, which continues to reveal itself through its side and a rear guarded by two imposing exhaust outlets.

The cabin has taken the opportunity to dress up in top-quality materials, such as carbon fibre and Alcantara. A sport-cut steering wheel takes care of presenting the new RS controls, which allow us to quickly access a preset mode to the driver’s liking; and seats of a new design sit in the RS6’s interior as the final touch.

However, all this ornamentation loses its shine once we open the bonnet of the favourite son of the house of the four rings. A 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 sits in the guts of the Audi RS6 with the aim of providing its users a whopping 600 hp and 800 Nm of torque, figures that promise performance capable of humbling high-flying supercars.

And the facts speak for themselves, since this video of the Audi RS6 reaching 300 km/h is proof enough of its capabilities on the asphalt. Thanks to the Dynamic package, the German estate removes the electronic limiter to reach 305 km/h, a figure complemented by a 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds.

The new Audi RS6 has already put its main rivals in check, but will it be checkmate? Either way, we are looking at an extremely capable estate, ready to dethrone anyone who dares to usurp its place as king of kings, a title it will be able to claim once it comes face to face with one of the most demanding circuits in the world: the Nürburgring.
