Would you like to have a hypercar with room for your luggage?

A designer shows us his take on the Porsche 918, McLaren P1, Ferrari FXX K and the Bugatti Chiron in estate form.

Hypercars have performance that takes anyone’s breath away, and not only that: their design tends to draw the eye of everyone around them. But what would happen if these models took the shape of a family estate? Can you picture a Porsche 918, a McLaren P1, a Ferrari FXX K or a Bugatti Chiron as an estate? Designer YasidDesign can, and we thank him for it.

The hypercars mentioned above have been imagined by YasidDesign in their most practical version to date, and their visual appearance certainly grabs attention. Logically, these models would not make much sense commercially: who would want to sacrifice much of their hypercar’s dynamics just to have some space to put their bags?

Furthermore, the boot layout of these models would not make much sense either. The luggage would not be in the best conditions, as it would sit right above a 900 CV engine with the heat it gives off; all these hypercars are rear-engined.

But who cares about the drawbacks when we are talking about hypothetical models? Many would surely appreciate such a crazy and visually attractive idea as this one.
