You can now make a Ford Mustang Eleanor yours for $189,000

Every car enthusiast necessarily owns a number of items related to the automotive world: model cars, posters and, surely, a large collection of films too. Among them, there is no way to leave out *Gone in 60 Seconds*, one of the most entertaining and fun cinematic works featuring vehicles as its stars. One of the film’s standout cars is, without any doubt, the Ford 1960s Mustang Fastback, which was dubbed Eleanor. Now, the American brand has just made a very interesting announcement.

The classic American sports car is reborn once again, and in an extraordinary way, as it adopts one of the most famous versions of the Mustang. This beautiful muscle car will be built thanks to Fusion Motor Company, the same company that worked with the film’s production company on the Eleanor variant of the Mustang. Without a doubt, this is great news for fans of the film.

To fully build a Ford Mustang Eleanor, a six-month period will be required, a fair amount of time given everything the conversion process involves. At the same time, the Mustang Eleanor will feature a range of modern, up-to-date elements that will considerably improve its handling and safety on the road.

Fusion Motor will use Ford Mustang Fastbacks , which will serve as donor cars for a new Eleanor. On this car, various carbon-fibre parts will be fitted, such as the bonnet, the front splitter and the rear spoiler. At the same time, a rear limited-slip differential will be used, completing the safety and driving aspects of the Mustang Eleanor. But we should also make special mention of the engine that will sit under its bonnet.

The company will offer up to five different engines to power the Mustang. The most “modest” of them all is a coyote V8 producing 430 CV, and the figure climbs to 750 CV in a 7-litre V8. In between, you can choose an engine with 480 CV and another with 560 CV. Without a doubt, whichever option you choose, the most radical side of the Mustang Eleanor will be present. At the same time, the muscle car will offer the option of fitting a five- or six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic gearbox with any of the engines.

Without a doubt, the six-month wait will be worth it, since we will have in our garage one of the most famous vehicles in film history. Even so, we will have to pay $189,000 which, at current exchange rates, is €157,000.
