The Manhart Performance MHX5 750 is the "tuned" sibling of the BMW X5 M

We know it is one of the most interesting cars on the market. When you have a premium SUV with a power of 575 CV and a maximum torque of 750 Nm, it is hard to make it look any more attractive. But if it is a version tuned by the company Manhart, that could be possible. And this is what they have achieved with the Manhart Performance MHX5, a study of the BMW X5 M that improves on the base model.
To begin with, we should say that it uses the same 4.4-litre V8 engine as the original, but it has been upgraded to 750 CV and fitted with a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm, considerably more than the base model. We do not know the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time, but given that the other model does it in 4.2 seconds, it is reasonable to assume the tuned model will bring that time below 4 seconds. We know little more can reduce that time, since no matter how much power they add, they cannot defeat the laws of physics.

Aesthetically, this version features some additions that enhance the image of a bold, high-end SUV that characterises the BMW model. The front has a new and more attractive design, a change in the appearance of the brand emblem and a slightly different black grille. The mirror covers are made of carbon fibre and at the rear there is a modified exhaust and a spoiler.
The wheels are fitted with black alloy rims measuring 23 inches, which makes it far more visually striking. It will still take a little while to become available and we do not know the final price of this version, which expands and enhances the aesthetic and sporting value of the BMW X5 M. What is clear is that the fortunate few who can get hold of it are going to enjoy it greatly.
