A travel set for the Porsche 918 Spyder

If the Porsche 918 Spyder is already a stylish supercar, the Stuttgart brand now presents a set of travel bags and suitcases designed to match a high-performance vehicle.

Designed by Porsche Design Studio, the materials of these accessories are based on those used in the cabin of the 918 Spyder, making them an ideal complement for travelling with a custom luggage set that matches the car’s interior.

The travel set is available in the same colour combinations that can be chosen for the 918 Spyder’s interior: garnet-silver, onyx black-acid green, onyx black-silver, mocha brown-silver and mocha brown-orange.

The collection can be split into three versions: one made up of a five-piece set, another of three and finally one consisting of two pieces. The full set includes two storage cases, two garment bags and a wheeled suitcase.

It seems impossible that so many items could fit inside this supercar, but the Porsche team has found a way to fit each piece into strategic spots, adapting to the structure and the different spaces of the vehicle.

The trolley fits perfectly into the boot recess, and there is enough room to store both parts of the removable roof. The same goes for the garment bags, which can be placed behind the seats, in the carbon-fibre monocoque, thanks to anchor points specially designed for them.

A carbon case is also included, fixed to the raised centre console and opening towards the passenger side. Another small bag uses the glovebox space and closes together with its lid, so the integration into the recess is complete.

Exposed carbon fibre, high-quality leather and Alcantara trim are the materials, also used in motorsport, from which the various pieces designed specifically for the Porsche 918 Spyder are made.
