Genesis GV90 Electric Cars SUV
A unit of the spectacular GV90 luxury SUV from Genesis has been spotted in public for the first time
With the GV90, Genesis aims to firmly establish itself in the most exclusive luxury segment, going head-to-head with the mainly German brands that dominate this sector.
With the official presentation of the Genesis GV90 drawing ever closer, the new flagship of the South Korean brand, it is no surprise that leaks about its technical specifications are emerging and images showing its appearance are being published.
The GV90 is shaping up to be the largest and most luxurious SUV we have ever seen in the Genesis lineup. A brand that has always set the bar very high when it comes to luxury, so surpassing it is no simple task. Genesis vehicles have always stood out for their unmistakable design, defined by the large Crest Grille, the dual headlights in the form of parallel lines, and elegant, flowing body lines that convey refinement and exclusivity. With the GV90, the brand intends to raise that luxury standard even further.
First public appearance of the GV90
With a few months still to go before its official presentation, a production unit of this spectacular SUV has been seen on public roads for the first time. Of course, it is conveniently camouflaged. In any case, the video you will find a little further below, published by a South Korean YouTube channel dedicated to the motoring world, lets us take a close look at the imposing appearance of the brand’s next major launch, the luxury marque of the Hyundai Group.

According to Genesis itself, the GV90 will be an SUV designed to take luxury to the extreme, also equipped with the most advanced technology. We first got a glimpse of this new model in March last year, when Genesis presented the Neolun concept at the New York International Auto Show. Since then, several camouflaged units have been spotted during testing, showing premium details such as rear-hinged doors and adaptive air suspension.
The video published now, however, offers the first moving images of the final production version. Although it is still covered in camouflage, some subtle adjustments can be seen compared with the prototype it is based on. The headlights and grille appear to move closer to the style of Genesis’s current models, while the front essentially retains the same imposing presence as the Neolun. The side and rear are practically identical to that prototype.
The GV90’s debut is now imminent
Although there is no official date yet for its presentation and subsequent market launch, everything points to the GV90 debuting in the coming months of this new year, 2026, with the first deliveries probably arriving around next summer.

It is expected to be the first model of the Hyundai Group to debut the new eM platform, designed specifically for electric vehicles and which, according to the company, will allow up to 50 percent more range than the group’s current electric models. The GV90 will also serve to show the public how far the South Korean brand is capable of going, incorporating the most advanced connectivity and safety systems.

Finally, regarding its retail price, obviously there is no information yet. In any case, you don’t need to be a fortune teller to know it will not be within reach of most people. Some estimates place its starting price above 100,000 euros, easily exceeding this high sum in top-of-the-range versions.
