ABT raises the output of the wonderful Audi RS7 to 760 hp

Many Audi models are the most coveted by motoring enthusiasts. Who has never wanted to have an RS7 in their garage? Now, with the help of ABT Sportsline, which has established itself as a leader in the transformation and improvement of Audi and VW Group models, they have decided to surprise us by enhancing the characteristics of the incredible ABT RS7-LegacyEdition, a fascinating example that will be limited to just only 200 units. Following the success of its special model ABT RS6 Legacy Edition (LE), they have decided to keep surprising the public, and I am sure they will continue to do so.

The Audi RS7 made its debut in 2013, and in 2020 it received a notable update that marked the start of its second generation. The RS7’s appearance stood out significantly from the rest of the A7 versions, with a front apron featuring the iconic honeycomb inserts characteristic of Audi Sport, and striking air intakes that gave it a commanding presence. At the rear, the oval exhaust tips typical of the Audi RS models completed its distinctive look.

But ABT Sportsline was not content with the standard. Its engineers set out to take this superior vehicle to a new level, equipping it with numerous technological advances and refinements. Thanks to the in-house ABT POWER R technology and the fitting of an ABT turbocharger and ABT intercooler, they raised the standard output from 463 kW (630 hp) of the Audi RS7 Performance to approximately 559 kW (760 hp), with an impressive maximum torque of 980 Nm.

The ABT RS7-LE also makes a strong visual impression with the addition of the “Signature Carbon Bold” finish on various extra parts, such as the front lip, the integrated front fins, the front and rear apron accessories, and the independent rear spoiler, among others. These parts, which include ABT carbon inserts, give the vehicle a unique and elegant appearance.

In terms of performance and handling, ABT Sportsline has tuned the RS7-LE’s suspension to ensure perfect road grip at all times. With ABT coil springs and ABT sport anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles, the driving experience is agile and stable. In addition, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport 295/30 ZR22 tyres mounted on ABT HIGH PERFORMANCE IR22 forged wheels in gloss black contribute to superior handling on both dry and wet roads.

The interior of the ABT RS7-LE has been meticulously upgraded. The Dinamica soul fabric can be seen on the gear lever knob cap, the dashboard and the seat upholstery, offering incredible comfort and ease. These materials are not only flame-retardant, but also coated with Teflon to protect against moisture and dirt.

No detail has been overlooked in the interior design: the front seats have been refined with the ABT logo on the headrests and the RS7-LE logo on the top of the backrest, and the floor mats also carry the corresponding logo. The ABT steering wheel, finished in high-quality Alcantara, features the sporty 12 o’clock marker, which glows discreetly in red through the perforated material. In addition, the door entry lighting and the start/stop switch cover complement the interior ambience.
